Robotics for kids - level 1

Description

A series of 4 interactive online classes designed for ages 5 to 8 with the goal of developing a love of learning, building, and experimenting from an early age through fun robotic projects. In this course we’ll take first steps towards building robots. In each class your child gets to build, play, and learn to become familiar with basic technological concepts. We’ll build circuits, a propeller car, a bristle bot, and a reptile bot. We’ll learn about batteries, LEDs, propellers, different motors, switches, and more - each class advancing and building on concepts previously learned. When the class is over, we want kids to smile, be excited and proud of what they’ve accomplished, and continue experimenting and playing with their projects. Details: - All classes are online through Zoom meetings (weekly on Sat. at 10 am). - Class sizes are limited to six students to ensure that we can interact with everyone. - Minimal help might be required from parents for smaller kids. - All of the robotic kits and their shipping is included in the price. * Enrollment closes 1 week before the first class to make sure all robotic kits are delivered.
